What is the difference between Complete and your Pro Calendar?

The biggest difference is that the Pro calendar is designed to bolt on to something you already have, either by pasting it in to your FileMaker file or just linking the two together. Complete is something you build out from: importing your data into it, and then adding the fields, tables, and reports that are specific to your business.

The two share the same calendar engine, but Complete also has tackles Contacts, Projects, and Invoices.

Does the calendar work with iCal?

The calendar can import and export iCal files (it can do vCards as well). But to really get the most out of iCal, we recommend Zulu which turns FileMaker Server into an iCal server. This lets you see, add, and edit your FileMaker records in iCal as well as in the iCal clients on your iPhone and iPad. Zulu also syncs with Google Calendar.

What are the requirements for SeedCode Complete?

Complete requires FileMaker 11 or higher.

It requires no plugins but optionally uses two: QuickBooks integration requires the FM Books Connector plugin from Productive Computing (a single seat of that needs to run on a Windows machine with seat of FileMaker) and our iCal / GoogleCalendar integration requires Zulu (sold separately).
