Here is a nearly complete feature list for the various versions of CC
Calendar. Features avaialble in the Free Version are carried through
to the Full, Pro and Scheduling

as individual calendars. Attendees are now supported. The export
routine has been simplified (using XML) and you can now more easily
modify the export format by editing a single calc in just one script

Rebuild from Clone |
Many
CC Calendar users make a clone of the calendar to reset it to their
local date formats. An enhanced reset routine now makes it easier
to relaunch the calendar after cloning. Scripts backup the interface
and settings records so that a similar script may easily restore
them. |
What's New in Pro Version 5.4
The 5.4 update of the FileMaker
7 Version of CC Calendar introduced a number of new features. These
features are carried over into the Scheduling Edition.

File Design |
All
calendar tables have been consolidated into a single file. Layouts
representing the separate files from older versions are included
so that you can more easily import records from previous versions.

You
can now easily move an apppointment foward or back a day using "nudge"
arrows on the Edit Appointments mini window. (All Versions) |

Search and Relevance |
The
calendar's built in FAQ has been improved with the latest content
and the addition of a Search bar. Search results are now visually
weighted by relvance. (All Versions) |
| To-Do
List |
The
calendar now offers a To-Do
list separate from the appointments table. To-Dos roll over,
day to day, until they are done, turning red when they are overdue.
To-Dos may be filtered by user and are available on the Day, Week,
and Month views. You may associate notes with any to-do item: a
blue indicator icon alerts you to the presence of such notes. To-Do
items also have their own search & print routines. (Pro Version
Only) To-Dos may also be exported to iCal along with appointments. |
| Create
Other Items |
Previous
versions of the calendar offered place-holder tables for tables
you might already have and want to show in the calendar beside the
calendar appointments. Version 5.4 now provides and interface for
creating, duping, and editing these items, making it easier for
you to build out and repurpose these files as you see fit. (Full
and Pro Versions. The Full version offers two such files, the Pro
version offers one in addition to the to-do list.) |

Bug Fixes and Enhancements |
We've
fixed a couple of minor bugs from previous versions and simplified
the New Window calls so that windows are resized using simpler,

Web Publishing Module |
The
Instant
Web Publishing Module has been revised to work with the new
single file design of the Pro Version. This means you only have
to host 2 FM7 files to use Instant Web Publishing. The IWP module
also supports the to-do list in CC Calendar Pro. (The IWP Module
is available separately and requires CC Calendar Pro for FileMaker
7.) |

CC Calendar Pro Scheduling Edition (SE)
The Scheduling edition encompasses all the features in the Free,
Full, and Pro Calendars, adding
the following new abilities.

in Client's Table Lets You Associate Appointments with Clients. |
Easily
link
clients to your appointments; build out from this client's
table as a starting point for your own work or swap out the client's
table for one already have. (CC Calendar SE comes with instructions
for making this swap.) |
| Elegant
Resource Scheduling |
You
can now associate each appointment with a resource and see a scheduling
grid with resources across the top and appointment times down
the left. Appointments are placed at the appropriate point on the
grid which the size of the appointment reflecting its duration |
| Multiple
Schedule Orientations and Scales |
View
the scheduling grid either 5 or 11 hours at a time. You can also
flip the schedule to view it horizontally
with hours across the top and resources down the left side. |
| Clicking
on an Hours Brings Up the Relevant Appointments for that Time. |
Clicking
in the vertical display of appointment times calls up the appointments
occurring at that time; shift-clicking on time creates a new appointment
for that time. (This is available on both the Day and Week views.) |

Create New Appointments on the Scheduling View(s). |
Shift-clicking
on the intersection of a Resource and a Time creates a new appointment
for that Resource / Time. |
