Introduction

The IWP (Instant Web Publishing) module gets around some of the difficulties of working in IWP by giving the calendar a separate interface file that works within the constraints of IWP. This simplified interface uses a simpler graph and very basic scripts to let you work with the data in SeedCode Calendar from within a browser. This approach delivers a web interface that is much faster than our previous web interfaces and allows even small iPhone browsers to quickly add and edit records.

Contacts

Contact List. The contact list lets you easily scroll through your list of contacts, and filter the list presented by the first few letters of the contact’s last name or company name.

Clicking on any contact reveals their details along with portals to their recent appointments (activity) and projects (Pro Complete only). Easily email the contact or map their address from this screen. On iPhone, the email and map links tie to the phone’s native mail and map applications and clicking on any domestic phone number begins a call to that contact.

Note that you can add and edit contacts in the IWP module...

...but you can not delete them. You’ll want to perform your deletes in the regular version of SeedCode Calendar.

Activity

Appointments (Activities, Milestones, Comments, etc.) Rather than present a traditional calendar on the web (something rather slow and complicated), the IWP module offers a number of links to date ranges surrounding the current date.

You can then scroll through the relevant appointments, filtering the list by User, Resource, and Activity Type.

Once you’ve arrived at an activity record, you can easily jump to its related contact or project. Note that activity is color coded by type just as it is in SeedCode Calendar.
