Tips for getting the most out of SQLexplorer

Definitely take the time to add your own table occurrences to the explorer rather than just playing around with our test tables. Since you can copy the query as a FileMaker calculation, you won't have to worry about escaping quotes or misspelling field names.

After a while you'll find it faster to edit your queries right on the review tab after you've build up the basic syntax. So don't by shy... you can always click "restore query" to rebuild the working query you started with in the step-by-step wizard.

By editing this directly you can start playing with syntax that isn't in our UI, things like SUM and GroupBy.
