Link Contacts. You can link some or all of your appointments with contacts so that you're just one click away from your contact's layout when you're looking at an appointment. The contact-selector in SeedCode Calendar Pro lets you filter the list of possible contacts by last name or company name. And you can use this selector elsewhere in your solution as it is very portable. And you can create new contacts from within this selector as well, so you don't have to loose your place in the calendar when you're creating an appointment for a contact who is not yet in your database. |
Placeholder Table of Contacts. SeedCode Calendar Pro ships with its own table of contact records. While you can build out from this and use it as the basis for your own contacts, the calendar comes with instructions for swapping this table out for one of your own so that you can link the calendar with an existing contacts table in your file. The instructions go on to describe how to place a poral of a contact's activity history (like one in the lower right of the screen above) on your contact's layout. |
