Glad to hear that Salman. FWIW, you can always find appointment records by searching for them in the calendar's list view, or by using the system-wide quick search. Appointments (activity records) that aren't set to show on the calendar would also be visible on a contact's activity tab if they are linked to a contact (or on a project's screen if linked to a project).

Best,

Hi,
When in edit appointment and “show on calendar” is clicked so that an appointment is removed from the list, then:

1-	How do I bring it back
2-	Where can I see the removed appointments
3-	What is comments only
4-	Can unused button next to print button, be used to show the removed or hidden appointments.

Sorry if these are old Qs, I could not find them in the help.
Thanks

Thanks Again:

The other idea is to use Sc Complete for a doctor’s clinic. Where by an appointment has both a patient and a doctor allocated to it. And the user table is for the secretary who books the appointment.

“Users” table ------------secretary who books the appointment?
“Contact” table---------- Patients
“ New Table” ----------- Doctors

Thanks for clarifying that: you'd probably want to add a field for user to the invoice table as there isn't anything in there now to link users to invoices. Invoices are currently linked to a contact and/or a company and a project.
Thanks John,

I see. An appointment has many users. I know it will be easy to relate users to invoices, I just wanted to know if they were already related in any way to invoices or not.

I am looking at SC Calendar ProDev Complete

Thanks Again

You'd probably use our "user" table for salesperson; you can find this on the settings, admin, or about tabs depending on the version you're looking at.

Each appointment may have one (or more) users and you can filter the calendar by user to see just one salesperson's activity.

Hope that helps.

Hi All,
I am new to CC Calendar so please bear with me. I am considering the purchase of CC, however in my solution I need the invoice to have a customer and a salesman.

I see in CC there is contact table which would satisfy customer, but which table or module would I use to satisfy salesman. Or would I have to include a new table for that.
A top level tab should show up on any screen as long as the logged in user has Access Privileges allowing them to see the layout referenced by that tab (if any).

However, if there are layout errors (as indicated by the red error icon) then the tab doesn't show up when you click "Apply Changes".

If there are no errors and you can't get a top level tab to show up something must be wrong and you may want to email me the file. ( john at seedcode.com)

Hi,

You can run one file or multiple files, but if you want to use the headers and navigation from Complete it will be easier in one file. And yes, you can import your tables and copy/paste layout elements from your file to Complete. You can't copy and paste your relationship graph, however, so you'll need to do that by hand.

When it comes to extending the tabs at the top of the Complete layouts, you're in luck: these were *designed* for just this situation. You'll want to read the following article to get familiar with how they work:

http://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=SeedCodeCalendarComplete.AddingNewTabs

The tabs themselves are several fields and buttons stacked on top of each other, and you'll need to define these fields in any new tables you're basing layouts on and then repoint the tabs you paste on to that layout so they come from the table the layout is based on: make a duplicate of the Contacts layout and take the tabs apart to see what these stacked objects look like.

You'll also probably want to add your new tables to the system wide quick search. You can find instructions for doing that here:

http://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=SeedCodeCalendarComplete.System-WideQuickSearch

Enjoy!

Subject: Single File or Multiple Files
Topic Replies: 5

I love the concept of Calendar Complete and have recently purchased it and imported everything that I need from a contact management standpoint. I currently also have a separate operations database that I have put together to run my business and I would like to incorporate it into the CC format with the same look at feel.

My questions are twofold:

1. Should I combine the two files together or run with them separately linking the two together. This is the over-riding question and one I need to answer before I move forward.

2. If I combine the two files together, I can import the tables and data into the CC file and set up the relationships just as I have in the original operations. This I understand how to do easily enough; however, how do I create new layouts in the CC file so that they have the same menu/tab systems across the top?

For example, I would like to just copy the 'guts' of the layouts of the operations file and paste them into the CC new tabs that I can create (so that the look and feel of the layouts is consistent) I could just copy an existing layout within CC and change what I need changed correct? I hope this makes sense.
