How can I use my own Appointments table in the Calendar?

The relationships between the IWP module and the appointments table are very similar to those used in the regular version of CC Calendar Pro. Thus, the instructions provided in the CC Calendar FAQ are all you should need to point the IWP module at a new appointments table. Those instructions can be found here.

One caution is warranted. The regular version of CC Calendar Pro was designed to really eliminate any and alll redundant structures. That calendar is as simple as we believe it can be. Unfortnatley, due to some of the constraints of IWP, the IWP module contains more redundant structures than you'd be used to from looking at our traditional calendar. For instance, the month view in CC Calendar Pro uses 7 relationships to the Appointments table. The IWP Module uses 42 relationships for the same screen. While the IWP calendar is no more complicated, per se, it is in some ways more work to swap out the appointments table in the IWP module than it is in CC Calendar Pro. On the other hand, the IWP Module has no export to iCal or repeating events scripts- some of the more elaborate parts of CC Calendar, so in some sense it is easier to work in than CC Calendar Pro.
