Each of the table occurrences you added in the "Main Layout" and "RelatedTables" sections need to be connected to the GoZync table occurrence. This happens in the Relationships tab of Manage / Database for both GoZyncMobile and GoZyncHosted.

!! Check you work

Take a look at what's showing up in the "requires" column of GoZyncHosted's Configuration tab. Do the IDs in use sound right to you? Are your child TOs indented from their parents? Have you filled out the "required" column for both the hosted and mobile sides of the Configuration tab?

!! Step 8: Connect your TOs to the GoZync TO

Connecting the TOs

-> In each case, connect the primary key in your table to the field "PrimaryIDGlobal" in GoZync. When you're done, your graphs should look something like this (screen shot from GoZyncHosted.fmp12):

%center% http://www.seedcode.com/rootimages/stikipad/gozync/graph.png

-> Notice how Invoice Line Items isn't related to Invoices? That's correct: these are all related to GoZync, but not
to each other.

Allow creation

-> Click on each relationship (the line from GoZync to your TO) and make sure "Allow creation of records..." is set to "On":

%center% http://www.seedcode.com/rootimages/stikipad/gozync/allow.png

! Checking Your Work

!! Click "Refresh & Evaluate Relationships"

Checking
the IDs you selected.

-> Finally, review your work on tab 4 of 4 in GoZync and make sure
that the field you used the relationship is really the primary key in your table. We indicate the field you're using in yellow:

%center% http://www.seedcode.com/rootimages/stikipad/gozync/yellowid.png

-> Click "Refresh & Revaluate Relationships" to refresh this display and check your work
.
to:
!! Step 4.1: Teach GoZync about your relationships

Prerequisites.

You can only do this once you've added your related TOs to the graph of GoZyncMobile and created the required fields in those tables. That is, you need to have completed steps 1-3 for the related table itself before you can come here and tell GoZync which other TO it is related to.

So if you haven't done that yet, go ahead.

If you don't have related tables, or don't want to wire them up before you see the sync work, just skip this step and return to
the integration overview to learn what's next and test your Zync.

Doing It.

Visit the Configuration tab of GoZyncHosted;
that is where you'll teach the app about which TOs are related to each other.

While this doesn't takle long, there is some though to put into it, so we have a whole article devoted to this
. Learn how to configure this here: Related Records.

-> You'll need to add a couple fields to your tables to get GoZync to work. The fields are listed below. If you have FileMaker Advanced you can simply copy and paste these fields from one of GoZync's example files (be sure to copy the hosted fields from the hosted example file, the mobile ones from mobile).

-> If you don't have advanced, just recreate the fields in your table, paying special attention to the field's type and auto-enter definition (if any).
