Upgardes And New Versions

How can I take advantage of New Versions or Upgrades?

You can tell from the calendar's version history if you have the latest version of the calendar or not. New versions tend to come about as a result of bug fixes and, occasionally, new features. New versions (as opposed to pay-for-upgrades) are indicated by incremental changes in the calendar's version number.

Newer Versions

If there is a more recent version we'd be happy to email you a copy. Just send an email to support @ seedcode.com and let us know what you need.

Of course, since our templates are unlocked files designed to be modified by our customers., there is no automated routine to migrate from one version to the next. That is why we post instructions along with many of our new versions to teach users how to make critical changes in their own copies. If you've made a lot of changes to your copy of the calendar, that may be the best way to take advantage of a new version.

Upgrades

When it comes to new products or substantial new versions of existing products, we generally offer special upgrade pricing for users who want to move to the new products.

If you've modified your calendar you'll need to remake those modifications in the newer product, though you can usually import your data (contacts, appointments, etc.) into the new version pretty easily as we tend to keep the field and table names as consistent as possible. We often have documentation to help with importing appointments from older versions.
