!! How Can I Print the Calendar?

There is a “print” button on each tab of
the calendar which will print the current layout.

For more control, click the “List” icon at the top of
the screen (to the right of Back & FWD). This will bring up a list view matching the appointments you were looking at. Clicking “Print” from this list screen prints appointments using a separate print layout which allows for more of the appointment text to show and groups the appointments by date. This printed list is a very basic print layout, and we imagine that users will modify this layout to suit their needs.

Additionally, you can use the “Search” button on any of the calendar views
to get more control over printing. The search screen lets you build found sets of appointments using the list view layout. Once you’ve built a found set you may use the “Print” button at the bottom of the list screen to print that found set.

[[Enhanced versions]] of
the calendar offer an additional printing option for the month view which prints the month grid but expands each day as needed to reveal all the appointments for that day; download the 10-day demo at www.seedcode.com to try this printing of the month view for yourself.

!! How can I change the way then calendar prints?

We print calendar screens using
the layout "Calendar - no Side Menu". So you can make some changes there, but remember that this is also the layout you use in browse mode when you hide the calendar's side bar, so you probably won't want to make radical changes here.

If you do want a print layout that is radically different from the screen version, consider duplicating
the "Calendar - no Side Menu" layout and making a version of it just for printing (adjust the script "Print Screen" to use your new layout instead of  "Calendar - no Side Menu").

Remember that you can also print the Event List layout if you want
to see more records than can show up on a month view (for example). Sorting this layout by Date reveals on of the subsummary parts which can make the layout a bit easier to read. Here again you might consider duplicating this layout and using it as the basis for your own layout used only for printing.
