I have an excel file that contains the data for a semester's worth of class schedules. How can I import this as appointments to seedcode?

I have tried following built in documentation and am confused.

When I tried to import just one class on one day, seedcode thinks there are 47 events??

Any help would be greatly appeciated. I have already converted the xls file to fp7, that step is taken care of. What I need to know is how to find out what the program names of fields mean. Also, how can I quickly see what my appt fields correspond to (like appt K prime or appt user?)
