Add comment to script - FM8 Adv

Sorry about this one. I am starting to use script comments but the only way I seem to be able to add one is by the "//" in a calculation part of the script.
I cannot seem to use the # method as shown in the FM Help. If I follow the Help instrtuctions and click the specify button in the script, it asks me to specify a field or whatever the context of the script step is, it does not allow me to enter a # as it says cannot find table.

Sorry if this is a bit basic, I've just never done it before!

All the best.
David

Check out the 3rd from the last script step- almost all the way at the end of the list of script steps you'll see "Comment". Double clicking that will put a bold "#" in your script. If you then click "Specify" you'll get a simple note area where you can write the comment.

("Specify" appears as an option for most script steps and always applies to the highlighted/selected step.)

Hope that helps.

Thank you John. New glasses or new brain required I think.
