Just a quick question , ive read the post which says that multiple users are possible , but can multiple users access and edit the calendar all at the same time ? all on their own pcs?

we curretly have the problem that only one person can access and edit our current calendar at a time. we are wanting a better product which will allow all of them to be looking at and editing the calendar without worrying about not getting access becuase another users currently looking at it.

Absolutely. Your users would access a "served" calendar just as they'd access any other served, multi-user FileMaker 7 / 8 databases. Hope that helps.
