Hi

Two issues

I created an event in my Zulu calendar and then realised it should have been created in my standard Mac iCal colour. When I changed it I looked in the FMP demo file and could see no indication it was no longer real data. The delete flag was not set either. Can this action be detected at the FMP end or is this a limitation of iCal/Zulu?

I then changed the FMP item by 5 mins and up pops a new entry in my zulu colour in iCal. Interestingly the new item was 55 mins earlier. Surely it should have created an item only 5 mins displaced

Thanks

Crispin

Hey crispin; not sure I'm following the second part of your question, so please send some more details if this doesn't help...

Transferring an event from a FileMaker calendar to a local calendar is tricky: I would recommend deleting the event and recreating it, but you can read more about this here:

Hope that helps,

Hi This is whatI do that creates a problem (I'm in the UK)

1) In iCal I create a Zulu event say from 18:30 to 19:30
2) I go to the demo db and look at the last record in the sample data
3) I observe it says 18:30 to 19:30 as it should
4) I edit the start time in the sample db entry for that item so it says 18:35 to 19:00. I click on the background to ensure the record is committed
5) I go ti iCal and right click on the Zulu calendar and select refresh
6) The booking jumps back to 17:35 to 18:00

This is not just a one off. I tried turning off time zone support in iCal advanced prefs but this makes no difference.

I will record you a video if you don't believe me!

I do believe you =)

Our latest version 1.018 makes some big improvements here: I'd say "fixes this time zone hop issue" if the whole timeszone thing weren't so tricky. But the customers I've talked to about 1.018 say its fixed this particular issue.

You can download the latest build here: http://www.seedcode.com/downloads

And instructions for installing a new build of Zulu are here: http://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.p ... NewVersion

Enjoy!
