Better timezones for Zulu

If you're using Zulu on a hosted server, you already know you can override the timezone of the server to give Zulu a more appropriate timezone for your users. You do this by changing the zulu.xml file on your FileMaker Server. (You can find out how to do this here: http://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.p ... .TimeZones )

But Angelo at Foxtailtech (one of our Zulu hosting partners) just reminded us that using the city declaration like "America/New_York" in zulu.xml instead of the GMT declaration like "GMT-7" means that you don't have to reset this for daylight savings.

Good stuff.

A list of acceptable city declarations for US cities can be found here: http://www.statoids.com/tus.html
