How much of a performance hit will there be if I change the dates forward or backwards from say 60 to 360 days? Are there other considerations we need to be concerned with? Is there a maximum number of days in either direction (past being the one we care about most).

Hi Dan,

The initial refresh after making the change will probably take a bit longer as you're introducing 300 days worth of events that will seem "new" to zulu, but one that's done on all the clients, then you just go back to refreshes being driven by modifications, and it should be pretty much the same, as you'll then just be adding and losing one day on each end as the days advance.

The caveat to this is if in there's going to be a lot of activity in the events that are in that new range, then the typical number of events that need to be refreshed could go up and slow the refresh down a bit.

In general, my experience is that once that initial refresh is done after the change, then you won't notice it moving forward.

hth,
Jason
