Hi, is there any way to get multiday events to show (on both Month & Horizon views) if the end date is within the displayed dates range, while the start date is not?
Thanks!

Hi Reuben,

I've just tested this on the latest version of DayBack and multi-day events that span outside of the current date focus are showing as expected.

Which version of the calendar are you running?
Which FileMaker version?
Which OS?

Regards,

KC

We are running Dayback 10.05 on macOS Sierra using FMP 16.0.2 (this behaviour existed using FMP 15 as well).

Thanks Reuben,

Could I have you attach a screenshot of one of the event's details and the view where it should be showing on the calendar?

Thank you,

KC

Thanks for your help, KC, here are the screenshots.

this is not scrolled up. Today's date is the earliest date in the display and therefore the earliest event displayed is one that starts on or after today...

Note the three events that start prior to today's date but continue past today

Hi Reuben,
I have tried to reproduce this in DayBack 10.05 and have not been able to. Multi day events show up as long as either the start or end date is in view.

I'm wondering if you have edited the "Event Find" script or maybe it's possible that if you updated from an older version that a FileMaker script change was missed in the update process? If you would like you can download a stock copy of DayBack and try to reproduce the issue there: http://seedcode.com/downloads/

It might be easiest if you send us your file and we can take a look at what's going on.

If your files zip down to under 15 MB, please email them to [email protected]. If they're larger than that, please use this free service: https://wetransfer.com. Be sure to include your full-access account name and password either in a text file or in the email.

(Note: please do *not* share a private folder with us--via DropBox, for example--as we will be unable to access the folder.)

Thanks!
