I need to make one of the elements bold on the calendar event (Summary for instance). Your documentation says use inline styles and the DBk_EventSummaryCalc field has a note saying styling isn't supported there. How do I make entries bold on an event?

Hi Jim,

Great to see you're looking into implementing our new event styling feature. The note in the DBk_EventSummaryCalc is left over from when you implemented the calendar when event styling wasn't a possibility. You can delete that comment from your calculation to prevent confusion.

Since we added event styling in build 10.16, I think you will just need to update your DayBack to the latest version to enable this feature. I've verified in a stock copy that your calculation from the previous post will work once you update the calendar: s = "<dbk-css style=" & Quote("font-weight: bold;") & ">" & Summary & "</dbk-css>" ;

For more information on applying updates, take a look at our documentation here: https://www.seedcode.com/pmwiki/index.p ... AppUpdates

Let me know if that helps.

Ah! Works perfectly. Thanks. Just out of curiosity, how often do you post new updates to dayback?

That's great to hear, Jim!

With DayBack, we try to be on a fairly frequent release schedule. If there are bugs to be fixed, we will release a fix as soon as we can. We don't have a set release schedule, but as you can see in our version history, we tend to have at least a couple new builds each month.
