Hi John,

Where do I enter the Event Phase in the Projects screen? I added a new Project and some Events, but the field is hidden and I can't find where I am supposed to enter it?

Thanking you in advance.

Kind regards

Hi Regine,

This is an oversight: the phases entry field will only show up when there are related phases for that event's projects, but there is no place to enter these phases directly. I'd remedy this by adding a portal of project phases above the portal of events on the project's "Calendar" tab.

There is already a table occurrence for "Phases" but I'd make that relationship from projects one that allows creation of related records so it's easy to create the phases for that project right in the portal.

Going further you could script the creation of new projects to enter default phases for you if most projects have then same phases.

Once there are phase records related to that project the phase entry on event popovers will work as you expect.

Best,

- John

Hi John,

Thanks for your response.

I was a bit worried that I might submit a really stupid question. ;-)

I am just adding the Phase in a new panel and while duplicating scripts I came across this:
The script called [OK Project Event Edit] states in the "Function: Revert Changes and Slide Back to Main Panel"

But it is attached to the save button? Is this just a wrong description?
Just want to make sure, I am understanding everything correctly.

Thanks

Kind regards

Nice catch! I think that comment was duplicated from the "Cancel Project Edit" script above it and never changed: the script itself isn't canceling the edit.

Thanks for pointing that out; looks like all the "Ok..." scripts have a similarly misleading comment.

Sounds good, Regine, We'll clean these comments up in the next build.
