Hi Guys,

I am coming across some weird behavior of the Events description field. When I make an entry and click save sometimes when I go back into the event, it suddenly shows the lines with big space.

I worked out, that it adds a 1 in the "Line Spacing Above" field. See screenshot
When I have multiple lines in the field it gets really annoying as I can't see it all.

I have not been able to work out why it is happening and it isn't happening every time.

Please can you help.

Thanks

Regine

Hi Regine,

You're correct that this description field is set to have 1 line spacing above each line.

To disable this for the layout, go to Browse mode, select the "Action - View Event" layout, and then select the description field. In the inspector, choose the "Appearance" tab, and under the "Paragraph" section, change the "Above" value to 0.

Once you've made that change, you'll no longer see the extra spacing above each line.

Hope that helps!

Hi KC,

Thanks for your response. I have turned it off now with your instructions.

The funny thing is, it hasn't always put the extra space in. In fact it only started recently, before it was just all without the extra space, hence I didn't even think it is preset in the field.

Anyway, I am glad it was an easy fix.

Thanks

kind regards and happy weekend
